Banyan Tree Community Initiatives commits to educating at-risk youth to build cost effective sustainable communities.  We commit to helping youth build the skills that they need to survive and thrive in today's world, and in doing so, teach them the value of sustainablity and eco-conscious thinking.

Our Vision

We the youth will work to achieve and create sustainable funding for affordable housing. Housing is a basic human right. Without it, the opportunity to pursue good health, accessible quality education, and equitable employment are impractical.  

We see training and educating youth to be the fundamental part of our work. Banyan Tree is led by youth for youth. Our initiative is not just about learning how to build sustainable housing, but also about learning how to build community.

To do this, we must consistently engage youth on their perspective of societal barriers and work to develop solutions that are practical for today's young people.
